Through the first week of February, Ashland University's men's and women's indoor track and field teams have recorded two automatic and 28 provisional marks for the 2016 NCAA Division II indoor national championships, March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kan.
Senior Jamie Sindelar continues to have the longest women's shot put distance in Division II at 16.57 meters/54-feet-4½, and junior Jordan Crayon has the third-longest men's weight throw distance in the country at 21.09 meters/69-feet-2½. Junior Bryn Campbell's top men's weight throw of 20.50 meters/67-feet-3¼ ranks him fifth nationally.
The AU men, ranked No. 10 in Division II, and women, No. 15 in the country, will compete on Friday (Feb. 12) at the Grand Valley State Big Meet and the Findlay Elite Meet.
