For the second time in the two-plus seasons of the
Katie Kuhn era, the Ashland University volleyball team has started a campaign at 3-0.

To conclude the Ashland University Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 6), the Eagles swept both Daemen (25-19, 28-26, 25-16) and West Liberty (25-21, 25-19, 25-15) to take all three of their matches on the weekend.

SWEEPIN' THE WILDCATS
- Junior middle hitter Ravin Morgan picked up to begin Saturday where she left off on Friday (Sept. 5) night – recording nine kills, a .643 hitting percentage and eight block assists.
- Another junior, setter Marin Dixon, filled up the stat sheet vs. Daemen – 27 assists, two kills, three service aces, six total blocks (five assists) and eight digs.
- Senior defensive specialist Macy McNamara paced the back line with 10 digs.
- The Eagles-Wildcats match featured 17 tie scores and 12 lead changes.
BLANKIN' THE HILLTOPPERS
- Junior libero Abbey Queen far and away had a match-high 22 digs, while Dixon collected 36 assists.
- Ashland hit .266 for the match, and kept West Liberty to an .084 hitting percentage.
MORGAN, DIXON PACE ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
- Both Morgan and Dixon were named to the all-tournament team. Morgan's weekend featured 28 kills, a .521 hitting percentage, three service aces, and 20 block assists, and Dixon finished with 107 assists, three service aces, 22 digs and 12 block assists.
- Also on the all-tourney team are Daemen's Payton Gaylor, IUP's Jessica Neiman, Ursuline's Ariel Nusbaum and West Liberty's Bella Dart.
