Ashland University's volleyball program will play host to four camps during July at Kates Gymnasium.
- The Eagles' high school tournaments will be July 8 and 22. Doors open at 8 a.m., coaches' meeting is at 8:30 a.m. and tournament play starts at 9 a.m. The tournaments are pool play, as teams will play two games to 25, then the playoffs are single-elimination best 2-of-3. All divisions will be determined based on won-lost record, then by using a tiebreaker procedure.
Winners of the Gold bracket will receive Ashland t-shirts.
Camp fees are $160 per team, due with application and non-refundable.
- The Ashland individual skills camp is July 17 (passing and defense) and July 18 (setting and hitters). The clinics are designed for players who want individualized attention to develop their skills, as well as concepts and strategies to read and react quicker.
On both days, doors open at 8 a.m., the morning session is 9 a.m.-noon and the afternoon session is 1-4 p.m. Lunch will not be provided.
Fees are $75 per camp, or $125 for both camps.
- The Eagle youth camp will be July 19-21, for those at all skill levels in grades 4-8. Camp fee is $100, due with application and non-refundable. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and sessions each day will be 9 a.m.-noon.
- Ashland's team camp will take place July 14-16. There are spots available for all of the camps except for the team camp, which is full.
