Ashland Shut Out By Tiffin In Final Home Match Of Fall

In its final home match of the fall season, the Ashland University women's tennis team welcomed Tiffin and lost 9-0 on Sunday (Oct. 2), as the Dragons improve to 6-1 this season.

After earning their first win as a duo against Findlay on Saturday (Oct. 1), junior Elizabeth Kidd and sophomore Natalie Keron played the closest doubles match of the day for the Eagles, losing 8-3 in the No. 3 spot.

Kidd, who also earned her first singles victory of the season on Saturday, played the tightest singles match for AU as well on Sunday. She lost 6-2, 7-5 in the sixth spot against Tiffin senior Andrea Alaniz.

UP NEXT: Ashland will play the first match of a five-match road stint at 1 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 8) at Saginaw Valley State.
