In the first NCAA Division II super regional rankings released on Thursday (April 12) afternoon, Ashland University's women's golf team is in the No. 7 spot in the East.
The Eagles have been in the NCAA postseason every year this decade, and have played in the D-II NCAA Championships as a team in 2011, 2013 and 2015.
There are 61 teams in the East super region. Twelve teams, and six individuals not on those teams, will compete May 7-9 at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich.
The low three teams, and the low three individuals not on those teams, in each super region will advance to the 2018 NCAA Division II Championships, May 16-19 at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.
