Eagles Finish In Tie For Fourth at Dayton

            The Ashland University women's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place Tuesday (Oct. 18) at the University of Dayton Fall Invitational.

            Cincinnati won the team title. The Bearcats shot 605. Second place went to IUPUI. The Indiana school ended the two-day event with a score of 620.  Oakland (624) was third and Ashland and Detroit Mercy tied for fourth place.  Both schools shot 629.  The field consisted of 13 teams.

            Detroit Mercy's Lindsey Lammers was the medalist. She won a playoff with Cincinnati's Olivia Dose to take top honors. Both players shot 147.

            Senior Erin Misheff (Silver Lake, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) finished in a tie for fifth place. She shot 152.  Junior Holly James (Strongsville, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) shot 158 and tied for 17th place.
