Tickets are on sale for the No. 1-ranked Ashland University women's basketball team's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal on Tuesday (Feb. 28) at 5:30 p.m. at Kates Gymnasium vs. Walsh.
Tickets are $15 for reserved seats (chair-backs), $10 for adult general admission and $5 for seniors/students. All fans must purchase a ticket for this game. There will be no complimentary tickets for Ashland students or staff for the game, and GLIAC passes are the only passes which will be accepted.
All season-ticket holders will have their seats held for them until tip-off.
Fans can order tickets at the business office in person or over the phone at 419-289-5958, online by clicking the above ticket icon or at the gate starting at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
If Ashland wins on Tuesday, it will play host to the GLIAC Tournament Final Four, March 4-5. Tickets for the March 4 game would go on sale on Wednesday (March 1) at 2 p.m. There will be no ticket sales for upcoming games following Tuesday's contest.
Ashland finished the regular season at 28-0 overall and 20-0 in the GLIAC, marking the program's first undefeated regular season and becoming the first women's basketball team in conference history to finish a regular year at 20-0. The Eagles are the only undefeated women's or men's basketball team in NCAA Division II.
Walsh is the tournament's No. 8 seed, and is 15-12, 11-9.
