Ashland will play host to a 2017 GLIAC Tournament quarterfinal on Tuesday (Feb. 28) at 5:30 p.m. against Walsh (14-12, 10-9), and with a win, will host the tournament Final Four on March 4-5.

The first set of regional rankings were released on Feb. 15, and the third set will be revealed on March 1. The Division II postseason selection show will be March 5 at 10 p.m. on NCAA.com.

A 64-team tournament (the top eight teams from each of eight regions), the Division II postseason will begin on March 10, and the Elite Eight, Final Four and national championship game will be March 21, 22 and 24 at Alumni Hall on the campus of Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.

Ashland won the Division II national championship in 2013, and was the national runner-up in 2012. The Eagles have made six prior D-II postseason appearances, all since 2004, and have an all-time postseason record of 15-5 (.750). Their .750 winning percentage is second in Division II history among programs with at least 20 games played.

In the Midwest Region, automatic qualifiers come from the GLIAC, Great Lakes Valley Conference and Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The other five teams are chosen as at-large entries.
