Fifteen Ashland University men's and women's outdoor track and field athletes have earned All-Region status from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
According to the USTFCCCA, to be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top five of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data, or be part of a top three relay team.
Ashland boasts one athlete who earned an All-Region award in three events, freshman Myles Pringle, who did so in the 400-meter dash, the 4x100 relay and the high jump. Three Eagles received two All-Region honors – seniors Eric Thompkins (200 dash, 4x100 relay) and Lauren Ellsworth (100 dash, 200 dash), and sophomore Irene Skinner (200 dash, 400 dash).
Receiving All-Region honors in their respective events were juniors Bryn Campbell and Jordan Crayon and sophomore Clayton Jury in the hammer throw, junior Brandon Freeman and freshman Brandon Wilson in the 4x100 relay, senior David Knack in the 5,000 run, freshman Devin Snowden in the 400 hurdles, junior Jason Zahn in the discus and sophomore Elijah Talk, junior Megan Tomei and senior Jamie Sindelar in the shot put.
