Ashland In Second, Five Strokes Out Of First After Day 1

After Round 1 at the Trevecca Nazarene Fall Invitational on Monday (Oct. 31), the Ashland University men's golf team is in second place out of 10 teams, five strokes back of first-place McKendree.

The top four individual scores make up the team total at the invitational. Thus far, sophomore Austin Kondratick (74 round-one score), freshman Patrick Steffen (75), junior Chandler Walnsch (76) and redshirt sophomore Frank Steffen (80) have the Eagles at a team score of 305.

Redshirt junior Gabriel Reynolds (81) and sophomore Ethan Blough (83) also are competing for Ashland.

UP NEXT: The Eagles will play the final round of the tournament on Tuesday (Nov. 1).
