Ashland Men In Eighth After Day One At Tiffin

The Ashland University men's golf team is in eighth place after a two-round Day 1 at the Kyle Ryman Memorial at Tiffin, which began on Saturday (Oct. 1). 

AU, which received votes in this week's NCAA Division II Coaches Poll, finished the day 20-over par and 28 strokes behind first-place Ferris State. The Bulldogs sit at 8-under par.

Freshman Luke Dorman is 2-over par and in 14th place, while redshirt junior captain Gabriel Reynolds is tied with sophomore Austin Kondratick at 3-over par and in 17th place. 

The tournament leader, sophomore Ryan Peruski of Saginaw Valley State, is 5-under par.

UP NEXT: The Eagles will tee off at Day 2 of the memorial tournament at Tiffin on Sunday (Oct. 2).
